I thrive in fields that require good communication skills, creativity, innovation and professionalism. i have experience in public relations, customer care, media reporting, creative writing and online journalism. in december 2019 i graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the university of nairobi. while in university, i did an internship at the tourism finance corporation in the public relations department. this gave me a range of practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this role. my responsibilities in this role included providing face-to-face customer service, planning pr campaigns and strategies with guidance from my supervisor, monitoring the public and media's opinion of tourism finance corporation, writing and editing leaflets, brochures, press releases, speeches, newsletters, websites and social media, representing the company at events such as press launches, news conferences, exhibitions, developing good working relationships with the media and arranging for advertising and promotional films to be produced
