Our client, a startup digital marketing agency is looking for a go-getter business development officer to market and sell their products and services.
\tIdentifying and pursuing sales leads.
\tPitching goods or services to new clients.
\tMaintaining a good working relationship with customers, prospects, and all company stakeholders.
\tPlanning, preparing and making presentations to clients and prospects.
\tExplaining to prospective clients about the advantages of products or services and following up with them in order to close business deals.
\tCommunicating new product developments to clients and prospects.
\tGuiding the development of marketing literature.
\tWriting and submitting to management regular sales and other related reports.
\tAnalyzing current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and recommending strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
\tPerforming market research to identify new opportunities and engaging with rest of the team to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
\tPreparing the company's sales and marketing budget and continually tracking expenses, as well as making sure company stays on track to hit revenue targets.
\tNegotiating pricing and delivery timelines with clients in accordance with company policies and procedures.
\tCollaborating with colleagues and management to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction.
\tIncreasing overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship.
\tAssisting in company’s branding and media communication activities such as press releases, advertisements, marketing collaterals, and web site.
\tAnalyzing the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues and product deficiencies in order to provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.
\tUsing knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
\tConducting relevant market/customer surveys to inform management decisions.
\tResponding to clients' and prospects' queries regarding products and services in a timely fashion.
\tDeveloping creative strategies to retain clients, including interviewing them to obtain their feedback and incorporating it into growth plans.
\tMaintaining a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, prospects and presentations.
\tManaging customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
\tStaying up to date on company best practices, policies, procedures, products, pricing, and promotions as well as industry practices and trends.
\tResearching new business opportunities and viable income streams.
\tDrafting and reviewing client contracts.

- At least two years experience in a similar role with proven results
- At least a diploma in sales and marketing or related field relevant to the role
- A good understanding of digital marketing services is an added advantage.
