The playseat evolution alcantara is nicely finished and quite robust, although it does have a small amount of flex. i previously owned a wheel stand pro and its robustness was comparable. i must say that racing in the playseat is a nice upgrade and quite immersive compared to racing in an office chair (even with a sturdy mount)
