Wind Power: As wind blows across the spherical or vane-covered head of the ventilator, it creates a pressure differential (a low-pressure zone) on the leeward side of the rotating fins/blades.
Turbine Rotation: This pressure difference, combined with the slightest breeze or even the rising hot air within the building (stack effect), causes the turbine head to spin.
