Selling my Authentic, late-19th/early-20th century Persian reverse-glass painting (Qajar period).
Painted on the reverse side of the glass for a luminous, glossy effect — a technique highly popular in Iran at the time.
Classic romantic scene: musician playing a stringed instrument, seated couple beneath a flowering tree under a full moon with calligraphy, against a deep black ground. Vivid colors and fine detail still strong.
Housed in a unique, richly carved Baroque-style giltwood frame with scrolling foliage and elegant profile.
Condition: Good overall. Painting intact with excellent color retention; frame solid and structurally sound with only light age-appropriate wear.
Ready to hang.
