Barista Mixologist

Prepare and serve quality coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte and other hot beverages. Operate and maintain the coffee machine and grinder. Prepare milkshakes, smoothies and other specialty drinks. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion sizes. Prepare mocktails, fresh juices and specialty beverages. Create attractive and creative drink presentations. Follow standard recipes and maintain proper measurements. Keep the bar/drinks station clean and well organized.

Previous experience as a Barista, Mixologist, or in a similar café/restaurant role. Good knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-based drinks. Experience preparing milkshakes, smoothies, mocktails and fresh juices. Good understanding of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness. Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. Must be reliable, punctual and well-groomed. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of stock control and portion management is an added advantage. KCSE Certificate or equivalent. Certificate in Barista, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Mixology is an added advantage. At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or bar. Good knowledge of coffee, milkshakes, mocktails and other beverages. Good communication and customer-service skills. Must be honest, presentable, reliable and willing to learn
