Responsibilities
Load and unload building and hardware materials from trucks and delivery vehicles.
Carry and move materials around the warehouse and loading area.
Help prepare customer orders for collection or delivery.
Pick materials from the warehouse as directed by the Store Clerk/Assistant.
Help count and check materials before they are loaded.
Arrange materials neatly and safely in the warehouse.
Load vehicles according to the instructions given by the Store Clerk/Assistant.
Handle cement, tiles, cartons, hardware items, plumbing materials, and other building materials safely.
Help unload new stock when deliveries arrive and put the materials in the correct storage area.
Help move heavy or bulky items safely as part of a team.
Report broken, damaged, missing, or wrongly placed materials to the Store Clerk/Assistant.
Help with stock counting when required.
Keep the warehouse and loading area clean
Requirements & Skills
Be physically fit and able to do heavy manual work.
Be comfortable lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials regularly.
Be able to stand and work for long periods.
Be reliable and come to work on time.
Be hardworking and willing to get involved in physical work.
Be able to listen and follow instructions.
Be able to work well with the Store Clerk/Assistant and other warehouse workers.
Be careful when handling materials, especially fragile items such as tiles.
Be honest and trustworthy when handling company and customer goods.
Be willing to learn and improve.
Be able to report problems immediately instead of ignoring them.
Be responsible for finishing the work they have been given.

We are looking for three hardworking and physically fit people to work in our warehouse and assist with the handling of construction and hardware materials.
The main job is to load, unload, carry, move, arrange, and prepare materials for customers and deliveries. You will work closely with the Store Assistant, who will tell you what materials are needed, where they should be picked from, and where they need to be taken.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding job. The successful candidates must be able to lift and carry materials, work on their feet for long periods, follow instructions carefully, and make sure assigned work is completed properly.
