Coco chunks are coarsely shredded pieces of coconut husks used as a durable mulch material. They are best suited for areas where you need longer-lasting soil cover. Uses: • Tree basins – provides thick ground cover that helps retain moisture and reduce weed growth around trees • Garden beds – protects exposed soil from drying out and helps maintain moisture • Dirt pathways – covers soil to reduce dust and erosion, especially in high-traffic areas Because they are chunkier, coco chunks last longer than coco fibre but are less flexible and do not give a fine finish.
