Purpose
Controls external parasites on livestock such as:
• Ticks
• Fleas
• Lice
• Mites
• Some biting flies
Animals Used On
• Cattle
• Goats
• Sheep
Mode of Action
• Cypermethrin: attacks the nervous system of parasites causing paralysis.
• Chlorpyrifos: inhibits enzymes in insects leading to death.
Application
Usually used as:
• Spray
• Dip bath
• Hand spraying
General dilution (typical for such EC acaricides)
Often around 1–2 ml per litre of water (always confirm label instructions).
Advantages
• Strong tick knockdown
• Long residual effect
• Works on resistant tick populations
