Dracaena fragrans, commonly called the Corn Plant, is an ornamental plant with upright, woody stems and long, arching, glossy green leaves. Some varieties have attractive yellow or cream stripes.
It is popular for homes, offices, patios and shaded gardens because it is easy to maintain.
* Light: Bright, indirect light or partial shade; avoid harsh direct sunlight.
* Watering: Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. Avoid waterlogging.
* Soil: Loose, well-draining soil or potting mix.
* Flowers: Mature plants occasionally produce small, strongly fragrant, creamy-white flowers.
* Size: Commonly reaches 1–2 metres in containers and grows taller outdoors.
