• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent is required or will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food-processing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, and income tax returns through the KRA iTax platform.
• Conversant with Kenyan tax laws, KRA compliance requirements, and applicable statutory obligations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, and cost control.
