Roadsidе Fried Chicken Cook –

Prepare and fry chicken for sale. Ensure chicken is properly cooked, fresh and well-presented. Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Properly handle raw and cooked chicken. Monitor chicken stock and minimize wastage. Keep accurate records of daily stock and sales. Account for all chicken sold and stock remaining. Keep the cooking and selling area clean and organized. Properly maintain cooking equipment and utensils. Report stock shortages, wastage or other issues to the supervisor. Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.

Practical experience in frying chicken, preferably in a roadside, fast-food, hotel or restaurant environment. Good knowledge of chicken preparation and deep frying. Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy periods. Good customer service and communication skills. Good hygiene and food-handling practices. Basic stock management and accountability skills. Honest, reliable and responsible. Good time management and punctuality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum KCSE or equivalent. Previous experience in chicken frying, fast food, hotel, restaurant or roadside food sales is preferred. Practical cooking experience is an added advantage. Must be willing to work from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Must be willing to work in Mathare, Huruma or Baba Dogo. Must be physically able to stand and work for extended periods.
