Responsibilities
Client aquization Products promotion *1. Client management & collections* - Monitor repayments and push for timely payments - Follow up on defaulters and arrears, negotiate payment plans - Handle inquiries, complaints, and retention strategies

Credit & analytical skills* - *Basic financial analysis*: Spot if a client’s business can cover the loan from cash flow, not just from what they say. - *Due diligence*: Quickly verify logbooks, IDs, KRA PINs, and spot fake docs. - *Risk assessment*: Judge vehicle value, client character, and repayment likelihood in 15-20 min during a field visit. *3. Operational & personal skills* - *Computer literacy*: CRM updates, submitting apps, pulling reports. Most firms use mobile apps now. - *Time & route management*: You’re covering a lot of ground. Poor planning kills your daily visits. - *Resilience & self-motivation*: It’s field-heavy, target-driven, and you’ll face rejections daily. - *Integrity*: You handle cash, docs, and collateral. Firms fire fast for fraud.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- 1–3 years in sales, microfinance, Sacco, banking, or direct logbook loan sales. - Fresh grads get in if they’ve done internships in sales, collections, - Valid driver’s license and motorbike riding ability is often required since you’ll be moving between clients all day. - Clean certificate of good conduct. - Computer literacy: able to use CRM apps, Excel, and mobile loan systems. - Must meet company KYC checks — no fraud or active loan default history.
Minimum Experience

You identify and acquire new clients by pitching logbook and asset finance products, explain rates and terms, and build relationships for repeat business. Once submitted, you follow up on approvals and disbursements, and verify vehicles with the branch manager. After disbursement, you monitor repayments, chase late payments, negotiate payment plans, and handle complaints. You keep accurate records, ensure KYC/KYB compliance, and report daily on sales, acquisitions, and targets. *Where it fits It’s a mix of sales, credit assessment, and collections.
