The 5A Overcurrent Protection Sensor Module is a compact AC current detection module designed to protect circuits and equipment from excessive current. It uses a built-in current transformer to monitor AC current from 0.3A to 5A and automatically activates the onboard 12V relay when the current exceeds the preset threshold.
The module features an adjustable potentiometer that allows you to set the overcurrent protection point precisely for your application. Once the current rises above the selected limit, the relay switches and can be used to disconnect a load, trigger an alarm, or activate another protection circuit.
