The KY-023 Dual-axis XY Joystick Module is a compact PS2-style control lever sensor designed for Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other microcontroller platforms. It provides precise analog control on both the X and Y axes using two built-in 10kΩ potentiometers, making it ideal for robotics, RC vehicles, gaming controls, camera pan/tilt systems, and DIY interactive projects.
The module also includes an integrated push-button switch that activates when the joystick is pressed downward, giving you an additional digital input for menu selection, action control, or special functions. When centered, the joystick outputs approximately half the supply voltage, allowing easy detection of movement in any direction.
