RJ45 Pass-through connectors feature open ends that allow internal wires to slide completely through the plug before crimping. This design solves the biggest headache of cable making: ensuring wires are long enough to reach the pins but short enough for the jacket to be secured. Key Benefits: Visual Check: You can verify the color order (T568A/B) at the tip before crimping, virtually eliminating wiring errors. Performance: By pulling wires tight, you maintain the cable's twists closer to the pins, reducing signal noise (crosstalk). Speed: It’s significantly faster than traditional "blind" termination. Note: You must use a specific Pass-through Crimper that trims the excess wire flush as it crimps. Standard crimpers will leave wires sticking out, making the plug unusable.
