The TTL to RS485 Converter Module is a compact serial communication module designed for bidirectional conversion between TTL UART signals and RS485 differential signals. It allows microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi UART interfaces and other embedded systems to communicate with RS485 devices over longer distances and in electrically noisy environments. The module features automatic data direction / flow control, eliminating the need for a separate GPIO pin to manually switch between transmit and receive modes. The onboard circuitry automatically detects UART transmission and controls the RS485 transceiver direction, simplifying both wiring and programming.
