Perfect for long-range observation, there is no denying that the massive 20x magnification will get you right up close to your subject. However even though these have large 50mm objective lenses that can collect a good amount of light, the very high power results in a small 2.5mm exit pupil and as such, unless you plan on using them for astronomy, they are best used when light conditions are good. These also have a built-in threaded mount to take a standard tripod adapter, which with the high power is essential in achieving a shake-free image. Ideal uses include hunting or wildlife observation from a fixed location like a hide, or setting them up on a balcony with harbor, ocean or valley views.
