Responsibilities
Manual Beta Testing: Thoroughly test new software builds and beta releases across mobile platforms (Android and/or iOS) prior to public rollout.
Bug Hunting & Reporting: Identify, document, and report application bugs, UI/UX glitches, performance lags, or broken user journeys.
Test Case Execution: Follow structured testing instructions and exploratory testing scenarios to verify core application functionalities.
Constructive Feedback: Provide clear, actionable feedback on product usability and overall user experience.
Future Product Involvement: Once trusted and proven reliable, have the opportunity to test and contribute to upcoming software products and projects in our pipeline.
Requirements & Skills
Technical Foundation: Basic knowledge of software applications, software development concepts, or testing methodologies (acquired through coursework, self-teaching, or personal projects).
Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for spotting inconsistencies, visual defects, and unexpected behaviors.
Communication & Documentation: Ability to clearly describe steps to reproduce issues, accompanied by screenshots or screen recordings.
Reliability & Curiosity: Proactive, eager to learn, and dependable when handling part-time, as-needed testing cycles.
Device Ownership: Reliable access to an Android smartphone and/or an iPhone.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical program.
Experience Level: Open to enthusiastic beginners, self-taught tech hobbyists, or students looking for their first practical experience in software quality assurance.
Interview Process: Selected candidates will be invited for an in-person meeting, where the full scope of the current product and future projects will be revealed.
Availability: Able to commit a few flexible hours on an as-needed basis per software release cycle.
