How to hatch ostrich eggs: You'll need to maintain the following conditions:
Temperature
The ideal temperature for incubating ostrich eggs is 97.6°F, but you can use 97.5°F for very large eggs. Overheating can damage the embryo, while underheating can slow its development.
Humidity
The humidity level should be around 50–55% during most of the incubation period, and increased to about 65% for the last three days. You can use a pan of water under the egg tray to add moisture.
Ventilation
Good air circulation is important to prevent carbon dioxide buildup and water vapor. You can ventilate the incubator room to remove water from the eggs.
Turning
You should turn the eggs at least five times a day to prevent the embryo from attaching to the shell membrane and to ensure a uniform temperature.
