Garlic chives seeds are easy-to-grow, hardy perennial seeds that produce edible leaves with a mild garlic flavor and white, fragrant, edible flowers. Seeds should be sown
inch deep in spring (March–June), germinating in 14–21 days at
ideally in full sun.
Simpl Seeds & Growing:
Sowing & Germination: Sow directly in the garden or start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Seeds need light, moisture, and warmth (
is optimal) to germinate.
Spacing: Space plants 3 cm to 4 inches apart to allow for growth.
Time to Harvest: Takes 86–100 days from seed to harvest, with maximum production after the first year.
Soil & Sun: Prefers full sun (6-8 hours), but tolerates partial shade. They need well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6-7)
Perennial Nature: Once established, they are drought-tolerant
