Ketonex is a product used for cattle to prevent and treat ketosis, a metabolic disease that can occur in dairy cows, especially after calving. It works by providing the cow with energy stability, which helps prevent ketosis.
How Ketonex Works:
Maintains Energy Balance:
Ketonex is designed to keep the cow's energy levels stable, especially during the first few days after calving, when glucose demand is high.
Prevents and Treats Ketosis:
By maintaining energy balance, Ketonex helps prevent ketosis and can also be used to treat it, according to an Atlantis Life Science Facebook post.
Faster Recovery:
According to a Facebook post from Atlantis Life Science, Ketonex can also aid in the faster recovery of sick animals.
Propylene Glycol:
One source states, Ketonex often contains propylene glycol, which the cow uses to produce glucose.
