Mammoth Red Rock cabbage is a variety of red cabbage that produces tight round heads that are 8 inches in diameter and weigh 7 pounds. It is red throughout, vigorous and uniform, with a small to medium core and excellent flavor.Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Mammoth Red Rock is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ensure your soil has a ph of between 6.0 and 7.5 as Mammoth Red Rock is a weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil loving plant. Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 3.12 inches (8.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.47 inches (1.2 cm).
