Trimmer line (also called weed eater line or strimmer line) is a strong, flexible cord used in a grass trimmer/brush cutter to cut grass and light vegetation.
What it is like
Usually made from nylon or polymer materials
Stored inside the trimmer head in a spool
Spins at very high speed to slice through grass
How it works
When the trimmer is running, the line extends outward from the head and rotates rapidly. The fast-spinning line uses centrifugal force to stay stretched out, and it cuts grass by impact—like a flexible blade.
