The Audio-Technica ATH-M50x ENSO closed-back studio headphones mark a decade of sound innovation with a 2025 limited-edition release. The ENSO model returns to the original black design, now featuring engraved rings and headband sliders inspired by Japanese sumi ink brush strokes. Each pair has a unique serial number etched into the matte finish, emphasizing individuality in every unit. Inside, the 45 mm drivers offer detailed sound for mixing, tracking or casual listening. The frame is lightweight and the earcups rotate for easy single-ear monitoring. Only 5,000 pairs will be available worldwide, and select buyers may receive a handcrafted furoshiki cloth from Kyoto’s Bamba factory and a custom headphone case, adding a rich sense of tradition to the listening experience.
