1. Digital AC Clamp Meter
The tool on the left with the yellow "claws" is primarily for measuring current (Amps) without breaking the circuit.
How it works: You open the clamp and put it around a single wire. It uses induction to measure the magnetic field created by the current.
Best for: Seeing how much power an appliance (like an AC unit or heater) is pulling while it's running.
Note: It won't work if you clamp it around a whole power cord (hot and neutral together cancel each other out); you have to clamp it around just one of the internal wires.
