Opticlox Eye Ointment is a prescription-only (POM-V) veterinary antibiotic ointment containing 16.7% w/w cloxacillin, used to treat bacterial eye infections Usage: Treats eye infections and inflammation in animals. Approximately 5–10 cm (cattle/horses), 5 cm (sheep), or 2 cm (dogs/cats) of ointment. Application: Evert the lower eyelid and apply a steady flow to the conjunctival sac. Frequency: Single application is usually enough, but it can be repeated after 48–72 hours. Safety: Safe to use in pregnant and lactating animals.
