A Krone tool (also called a Krone punch-down tool) is a hand tool used in networking and telecom cabling to terminate wires into Krone-style insulation-displacement connectors (IDC) on punch-down blocks, patch panels, keystone jacks, and surface boxes. It pushes each wire into the connector slot so it makes a secure electrical contact and usually trims off the excess at the same time.
• Used by telecom and network technicians for structured cabling installations.
• Spring-loaded impact design makes it easy to seat wires quickly and accurately.
• Compatible with twisted-pair cables (Cat5e, Cat6, phone lines) and Krone/LSA punch-down blocks.
