The LiteBeam M5 is a compact outdoor wireless broadband device designed to create long-range connections in the 5 GHz frequency band. It uses a high-gain directional antenna and Ubiquiti’s airMAX technology to establish reliable point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links between two locations without the need for physical cables. It is rugged and weather-resistant for outdoor deployment, easy to install, and powered via a single Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE). It features one integrated directional antenna, one Ethernet port with up to 100 Mbps speed, and supports secure encrypted wireless communication. While not a typical consumer Wi-Fi access point, it excels at backhaul and network extension over long distances, delivering stable performance in various environments.
