The Yeastar TG800 is a hardware VoIP GSM Gateway designed to connect cellular networks directly to IP-based phone systems. This rack-mountable device supports 8 simultaneous mobile calls using 8 separate SIM card channels. It serves as a bridge to lower corporate communication costs by converting fixed-line-to-mobile calls into mobile-to-mobile calls.
The front panel features dual 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports for network uplink, alongside detailed LED indicators to monitor network registration and signal strength for each slot. Beyond voice traffic, the TG800 handles bulk SMS messaging and USSD requests through an open API. It functions as an essential cellular backup route during primary internet or landline phone outages.
