To get the most out of a high-capacity Li-ion battery like this, consider these tips:
Avoid Extreme Heat: Store and charge the battery in a cool, dry place. Heat is the primary enemy of lithium cells.
Partial Charges are Fine: Unlike older NiCd batteries, you don't need to fully deplete these before recharging. In fact, keeping them between 20% and 80% charge can actually extend their life.
Storage: If you won't be using it for several months, store it at about 40–50% charge rather than completely empty or completely full.
