An air compressor discharge tube (also called a delivery tube or discharge pipe) is the high-pressure tube that carries compressed air from the compressor pump head to the air receiver (tank).
Common features:
Made from copper, steel, or braided stainless steel to withstand high temperature and pressure.
Fitted with compression nuts or threaded fittings at both ends.
Available in straight or pre-bent shapes depending on the compressor model.
Typical sizes:
Outside diameter: 6 mm (1/4 in), 8 mm (5/16 in), or 10 mm (3/8 in)
Working pressure: Usually 8–12 bar (115–175 psi) or higher, depending on the compressor.
Applications:
Portable air compressors (24 L, 50 L, 100 L)
Belt-driven compressors
Industrial piston air compressors
When replacing a discharge tube, match:
Tube outside diameter
Tube length and bend shape.
