An EMAS chainsaw consists of a motor (engine or electric) that drives a rotating chain fitted with sharp cutting teeth. This chain moves around a metal guide bar at high speed to cut through wood efficiently.
Engine / Motor – Can be petrol-powered or electric (corded or battery).
Guide bar – The long metal blade that supports the chain.
Saw chain – A loop of sharp teeth that does the cutting.
Handle & throttle – For gripping and controlling speed.
Chain brake – A safety feature that stops the chain quickly.
Fuel tank / battery compartment Depending on the model type.
