Date coding is an important part of packaging because it communicates information about when a product was manufactured or when it should be used. A compact 12.7mm handheld inkjet printer can help businesses apply date codes to suitable packaging quickly and conveniently. Its portable construction makes it useful for small production areas where a fixed coding machine may be unnecessary. Operators can position the printhead against the intended surface and move the device carefully to create a readable mark. Depending on the model, users may be able to print dates, short text, batch information, or simple codes. For the best results, choose an appropriate cartridge, use a stable printing technique, and check that the printed information remains clear after handling.
