It is a specialized handheld diagnostic tool used to measure voltage, current flow (amperage), and point out the exact direction of shorts or leakage on an electric fence.How to Use the Fault FinderPowering On: Place the top metal contact slot of the device directly over an active, energized fence wire. Press and hold the "PRESS" button to activate the screen and take a reading.Reading the Metrics:Kilo Volts (kV): Displays on the left. This confirms how much voltage is moving through that section of the fence line.Amps (A): Displays on the right. Amperage tracks the flow of electricity escaping from the system. A perfectly clear fence wire will show 0 Amps.
