Horizon Zero Dawn is an open-world action role-playing game set in a far-future, post-apocalyptic United States where colossal machines dominate the land and tribal humans struggle to survive. Players control Aloy, an outcast hunter who uses her skills and a special device called a Focus to hunt machines, uncover the secrets of the Old Ones, and discover her own mysterious origins and destiny. The game features tactical combat, a rich story, a vibrant open world to explore, and deep lore surrounding the world's technological past and the rise of the machine threat.
