Cage bred snails hence safe to handle without fear of lungworm infection commonly found in wild snails and slugs.
Great for teaching kids responsibility as they feed them and clean the cage. A one foot square plastic or wooden box is enough for two. A bucket is also good but make sure it has a lid to prevent wandering away at night. Punch holes on lid and sides. Feed vegetables, fruit peels and any human food without salt. Place some calcium powder in a flat vessel. Without calciun the shell won't grow. Any chicken feed shop or market sells lime stone powder at around 40/- per kg which is a good source of calcium. Never mix it with food. They lick it only when they need it.
