Thermostatic oil filter sandwich plate adapter used for plumbing an external oil cooler setup onto a vehicle.
Key Components
Sandwich Body: The main gold-anodized billet aluminum plate.
AN10 Fittings: The two protruding silver fittings at the bottom hook up directly to the lines leading to and from your external oil cooler.
Integrated Thermostat: Located inside the central channel, this spring-loaded valve prevents cold oil from circulating through the cooler during initial startup. It opens once the engine reaches its optimal operating temperature (usually around 80°C/176°F to 85°C/185°F).
Universal Center Adapter Bolts: The silver-and-gold extension bolt comes with two standard automotive thread sizes marked directly on it: 3/4-16 and M20x1.5. This ensures compatibility with most common Japanese and domestic engine blocks.
