Responsibilities
1. Garment Sorting. Sort incoming laundry by fabric type, color, weight, and washing instructions.
2. Stain Treatment. Inspect clothing items for stains and apply appropriate pre-treatment chemicals safely.
3. Machine Operation. Load and operate commercial washing machines and dryers using correct cycle settings.
4. Chemical Dilution. Measure and add detergents, fabric softeners, and bleaching agents according to safety guides.
5. Finishing & Ironing. Iron, steam, press, and neatly fold garments to meet professional presentation standards.
6. Quality Control. Check finished laundry for cleanliness, damage, or missing items before packing.
7. Inventory & Records. Keep an accurate count of client linens or clothes and log daily processing records.
8. Machine Maintenance. Clean lint filters daily and report any equipment malfunctions to management.
Requirements & Skills
1. Attention to Detail - High precision in identifying subtle fabric stains and keeping customer orders organized without mix-ups
2. Ability to stand for long hours, bend, and lift heavy laundry bags up to 15kg.
3. Trustworthy person with a clean track record, as you will be handling valuable personal property.
4. Strong understanding of fabric-safe stain removal techniques and chemical handling safety.
