How a Concrete Mixer Works

Charging: The ingredients (aggregates, cement, and water) are added to the rotating drum.
Mixing: The drum rotates in one direction, and the internal blades push the materials deeper into the drum, mixing them together.
Discharging: To pour the concrete, the drum's rotation is reversed, which uses the blades to push the mixed concrete out of the drum and down a chute.
