Key Qualities:-
✓Has a crude protein content of 24.1-28%
✓They have no tubers. Making them strictly for animal feeds coz it doesn't attract moles, porcupine or human beings who are after the tubers.
✓The first harvest is done when the vines cover the ground about 60 days after planting and subsequent harvest after 21days.
✓Normally fed to cattle as a supplement.
✓They are feed to cows, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits and geese.
✓Best for calves as they promote growth and lactating cows as they increase milk production.
✓GOATS/SHEEP/PIGS-Goats/Sheep/Pigs love sweet potato vines. Daily weight gains of 44g to 82g were recorded in goats/sheeps/pigs fed with sweet potato vines.
