Mixed-Fabric / Dual-Fabric Design: This describes furniture that pairs two different materials—in this case, soft fabric cushions with a darker leather-look base.
Jumbo Cord / Corduroy Fabric: The main seating and backrest area is made of a wide-grooved, plush corduroy fabric.
Faux Leather / Leatherette Base & Trim: The dark brown or black outer frame and lower arm panels are made of synthetic leather.
Scratched through the backing: The faux leather material on the lower front corners has been entirely scratched away by cats, exposing the structural foam and internal padding underneath.
Localized claw damage: The tearing is concentrated specifically on the lower front corners of the armrests, while the corduroy fabric sections remain structurally intact.
