How to plant chia seeds
* Climate: Chia grows best in warm areas with full sunlight and moderate rainfall.
* Soil: Use well-drained, loose soil enriched with compost or well-rotted manure.
* Planting: Make shallow rows about 30–45 cm apart. Sprinkle the seeds thinly, then cover with only 0.5–1 cm of soil.
* Seed rate: Approximately 2–4 kg per acre, depending on the planting method and germination rate.
* Watering: Water gently after planting and keep the soil moist—not waterlogged—until germination.
* Germination: Usually occurs within 5–10 days.
* Thinning: Leave plants approximately 15–30 cm apart once established.
* Harvesting: Chia is generally ready in 90–150 days, when the flower heads and most leaves have dried.
