• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Prepare and process payroll, statutory deductions, and other employee-related payments.
• Conduct bank, cash, and other account reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections and monitor financial performance against approved budgets.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of all applicable tax returns and statutory obligations, including VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, income tax, and other KRA requirements, and maintain accurate supporting records.
• Monitor and manage petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and accountability for all expenditures.
• Support inventory and stock reconciliation in collaboration with the Stores and Warehouse teams.

Ujuzi Unaohitajika
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent is required or will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food-processing environment.
• Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, and income tax returns through the KRA iTax platform.
• Conversant with Kenyan tax laws, KRA compliance requirements, and applicable statutory obligations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
