1. Step one, conduct a land search from the land county registry.
2. Step two, seller and buyer applies and obtains consent for transfer of land from National Land Commission.

3. Step three, valuation of the land by government valuer to ascertain the stamp duty to be paid. (Current values of the land)
4. Step four, payment of stamp duty to Commission for Domestic taxes (KRA) and present receipt to registry as a proof of payment.
5. Final step, is to lodge stamp duty transfer documents for registration at a local or County land office
