Quicker to install and equally strong
When installing gypsum, the rails are screwed to the walls or floors of your room to support the studs which then form a grid to support your gypsum board. Use the wafer-head self-tapping screws to join together the studs and the rails.
The gypsum boards are then screwed on the metal stud grid using bugle head drywall screws.
