The 3S 40A Lithium Battery BMS Protection Board is a battery management and protection module designed for 3-cell (3S) lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery packs. It helps manage and protect the battery during charging and discharging by monitoring the cells and providing protection against overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, and short circuits.
It is suitable for applications such as DIY battery packs, portable power supplies, electric devices, robotics, and other lithium battery projects. The 40A rating makes it suitable for battery packs requiring relatively high current protection, when used within the board’s specified operating conditions.
