This is a Door Release Override Key Switch featuring an integrated LED indicator. It provides authorized personnel with a manual, mechanical bypass for electronic access control and facility security systems. ## Key Functions * Manual Override: Turning the key directly cuts or restores power to bypass automated schedules, system freezes, or malfunctions. * Status Visual: The integrated red LED offers immediate confirmation of the current lock alignment, power supply status, or alarm conditions. * Tamper Resistance: Requires a physical key to activate, preventing unauthorized public manipulation of secure door zones. It is commonly paired alongside green break-glass units to safely test security circuits, clear tripped alarms, or temporarily lock down a facility.
