"The BOYA BY-M1 is an entry-level, industry-standard omnidirectional lavalier microphone engineered to deliver crisp, clear audio capture for content creators, podcasters, and interviewers. It features an integrated 360-degree pickup capsule that captures consistent audio levels from all directions, even if the speaker moves their head. The microphone is equipped with a lengthy 6-meter (20-foot) shielded dual-core cable, providing ample room for physical movement, framing adjustments, and distance tracking during camera shoots. The in-line controller house handles a dynamic power matrix powered by an LR44 button cell battery; switching the toggle to 'Camera' engages the internal preamp booster for DSLR devices, while switching it to 'Smartphone' disables power to pass a passive mic signal into standard 3.5mm TRRS mobile headphone jacks."
