Non-Existent Model: Sennheiser has never manufactured or designed a model called the e838II-S or e838 II. The genuine evolution series includes models like the e835, e845, e865, and a historical wired model called the e838 (which came in a simple cardboard box or soft pouch, never an aluminum flight case). Fake Packaging Case: Genuine Sennheiser evolution series vocal microphones do not ship in miniature silver aluminum flight cases with printed geometric patterns. Incorrect Brand Markings: The text "Made in Germany" printed on the case and the handle is incorrect for this class of microphone. While high-end Sennheiser capsules are made in Germany, entry-level evolution wired microphones are historically assembled in other facilities, such as Germany, Romania, or China depending on the era, and clones widely copy the "Germany" text to loo
